Delete your Rootivo account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app:
In the app
- Open the Rootivo app.
- Tap the account icon in the top right.
- Choose “Settings” → “Delete account”.
- Confirm the deletion.
Alternatively, by email
You can also send us an email at hallo@rootivo.app with the subject “Delete account”.
We process deletion requests within 14 days.
Which data is deleted?
The following data is removed completely:
- Profile data (email, name, language, climate zone)
- All beds and plantings
- Gardens and garden objects
- Journal entries
- Personal plant notes
- Favourites
- Uploaded photos (note photos, journal photos)
- Push tokens and notification settings
- Photo-scan history
Legal retention obligations
Some data must be retained for legal reasons — for example invoice records relating to your purchases under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO), with a 7-year retention period. During this period the data is locked and processed exclusively for that legal purpose.
